Match report Thirds finally get off to winning ways with a big win against an extremely young Coggeshall Hamlet Reserves. After winning the toss Reddin had no hesitation in asking the opposition have a bowl. Goode and Reddin got off to a very quick start pushing the ball into the gaps but both made the criminal mistake in getting out one shot from retiring on 25. Fawcett continues to score his very good record this year with the bat with yet another 25+ In fact he got his BDICL best with a splendid 60.WMCC were all out with 6 balls to go for 157.

The opposition made it very difficult for themselves to reach our score as they refused to run on many occasions which meant they put lots of pressure on themselves which resulted in a couple of crazy run outs. Good straight bowling by O. Glasson, Older, Goode and Tripathi meat that they could never really get over which resulted in a 103 run win with ten balls to go.

Watch this space: These kids showed very good technique and as they mature we are going to see them putting in big performances in the future.
