Woodham Mortimer play around 18 Friendly 20/20 games from May through till the beginning of August. The games take place on a Tuesday night starting at 6pm.
Geoff Reddin began our 20/20 team in 2008 and handed the reins over to Mark Beames in 2013. Toby Pateman had a short managerial spell before Sam Older took over the reins in 2019. Ollie Glasson captained the side in 2022 and has handed over the reins to fellow groundsman Matt Clark for 2023. Matt will continue to captain in 2024.
20/20 Friendlies have become an integral part of the summer calendar at Woodham and we hope they will continue for many years to come
In 2014 and 2015 we played in the Warsop league 20/20 competition. We lost in the semifinals to Chelmsford in 2014 and finished 5th in 2015.
In 2023 we entered the Chelmsford Master Blasters League. In 2024 we will revert back to playing 16 Friendlies.
