Match report After the previous weeks defeat at Broomfield, a comprehensive demolition of visitors Noak Hill by 8 wkts.

Upon winning the toss, the hosts did not look back, taking regular wickets with a good bowling and fielding display to whittle the visitors out for just 65. All bowlers picking up wickets, notably George Verlander 3-23 and Craig Marshall 3-12.

In reply, the 1's made short work of chasing the target, achieving in just 9.4 overs, Rod Brazier 42no at the innings close.

Victory by 8 wkts with the match concluding at the unusually early time of 4.30pm, much to the disappointment of the home fans, including Keith Lester & Tony Brock - a delight to see visiting.

Roll on the visit to local rivals Purleigh next week!
