Match report Batting first, Woodham Mortimer started strongly with Laura Thorogood (28 retired) hitting a massive six clean out of the ground! Victoria Brown (21) continued the assault but found scoring difficult especially against the pace bowling of Hannah Jeffrey (Four for 9). Alex Shepherd (One for 11) and Michelle Snow (One for 14) were the other wicket takers.

In reply , Abberton despite loosing an early wicket , scored steadily through some savage hitting by Sue Theobald (21) until she was brilliantly caught & bowled by G Melhuish (Two for 21). Amy Finbow (14) then continued the scoring. Laura Thorogood (Two for 18) and bowled well but fine knock by Helen barnes (25 Retired) and Michelle Snow (12 not out) saw Abberton home with five overs to spare.
