Woodham Mortimer Cricket Club

Thanks you to everyone who attended the AGM last night and to those who sent their apologies. Unfortunately Don Carver could not attend and this was his first missed AGM in 42 years. He was misssed!

I will ge the minutes together over the next few days and email them out and post them under club documents on the website.

The main points are as follows:

1) Vice captains will no longer be elected by the club at the AGM. They will be selected by the captain

2) John Strange was elected as a Life Member

3) The club unanimously  voted to join the new look Warsop Sunday Friendly League

4) The officals of the club were returned on mass including the captains.

and finally..... myself , Nick Goode Keith Mitchell and Manoj Tripathi all managed to get all  bogged last night. Everyone got out with a bit of a push except for my XC90 25 tonne volvo, (supposedly all wheel drive) but in the end it was Peggy Kev and Manoj who managed to get me out!   thank you chaps!
