At this time of year, it is traditional to see Christmas messages posted from many a wise man. So, before you all go off to roast your chestnuts by an open fire or dash through the snow on a one horse open sleigh, I felt it was my duty, as your Chairperson, to pass on some inspirational words, in the hope that I may provide comfort and joy to my fellow Woodies, wherever you may be, during the Festive period.
But rest assured, it was not my acting ability that saw me selected to play Scrooge in the school play, one distant Christmas past. So if you are in need of some inspirational words, go watch Jeremy Kyle, if its comfort and joy you are after, well I'm sure you lot will be drinking enough Southern Comfort anyway and sorry, I don't know any girls called Joy.
So the best you are going to get from me is an advent calendar! And not a normal one where you have 24 doors to open, bah humbug, this one will only have 2. So make sure you are up early on the 23rd and 24th to open the doors to your Christmas Message from the Chair....
