Woodham Mortimer Cricket Club SECOND XI v Boreham on Sat 26 Jul 2014 at 1.30pm
Woodham Mortimer Cricket Club Won by 9 wickets

Match report A first win since Wakering and only the third of the season, should lift the Pheasants from the foot of the table. Fielding first, Cameron Hayman ripped through the Boreham top order picking up a magnificent 4-13. Team cripple, Russ Barnard, also bowled well picking up a brace and with a wicket each for Goodlad, Older and Flash, the innings ended on a Woodhamesque 75 all out. The reply lasted only 15 overs as Goodlad 47*, Richardson 11, and Fried 14* wrapped up the win in quick time.

Dare we dream of a similar result away at Marconi?

All will be revealed in the next instalment of Woodham Mortimer: The Journey 2014....
