Woodham Mortimer Cricket Club T20 XI v Marconi on Wed 01 Aug 2012 at 18:00
Woodham Mortimer Cricket Club Lost By 4 wkts
Match report
This was a very enjoyable game against a very strong opposition. Winning the toss and batting first WMCC did not get off to the best the start. Good batting by Roger and Druid rescued the situation and got us to a decent total.
Good bowling by the Druid, Connor, Roger and Dr. John were not enough with Marconi winnig the game with three balls spare.
With a bit more luck and some better umpiring decisions and not having to field in the dark with the dark red ball the game could have easily been a victory.
Man the Match : Chris Shaw.
Also thanks to Don for allowing the game to go ahead. He would have been justified to have called it off.
