Match report Toss won, into the field we went. The seamers struggled with their line today and it wasn't until a Flash Collis beamer that the breakthrough was made, caught by Wade at mid-wicket. Richards made 40 and Rodgers 82 as Danbury threatened to post an imposing score. However Cook (5-53) and Pinky C (3-28) stemmed the flow to keep Danbury to a total of 198.

In response, The Giant and Spudley fell early and Fannon and Coulson set about rebuilding the innings. Coulson fell with the score on 73 and after the skipper holed out for 51 the innings subsided to a paltry 119 all out.

Roll on next week, when we shall entertain Great Wakering a Pheasant Park.
