Match report Our last league match of the season finished with a respounding win!

Stephen will be upset to have missed out last night getting caught on 15 after a fast start. The specialist 20/20 opener Ollie Glasson powered onto an excellent 50 off 48 balls whilst our newest member, Jono Mooney, continues to impress with a 27 ball 50. Luckily the Warren golf course is to be permanently closed and all 15 year old's banned from playing golf on a Saturday... ( We wish!)
Woodham finishing on 188 for 1. The only disapointement was that I didnt get a bat!

OC's had to have a go and raced to 60 odd off 6 overs, well within the required rate, however once wickets started to fall and Jono, Craig and Keith slowed the rate right down with good spells of tight accurate bowling the game was effectively over.

So after our first effort in the 20/20 league we finished with 2 wins and 2 losses. We finished joint second in the group with Maldon, so they will go through to the finals day as they beat us.

I hope everyone has enjoyed these 4 games and I will again propose that we take part next year.
