Match report First win for the 2019 T20 team.
Danbury batted first and GV and Sam both opened well with GV taking 3 wkts in his 4 overs bowling well. Sam deserved his wkt smashihing the stumps.
After an initial wide over Angus bowled a Good spell and the skipper took a good wicket after deceiving Hayden bowling him with the slower ball.
After a few drops (Angus and Sam N) Nigel got the last wkt after a run out taking out the single stump from a very square 10yards.
Danbury finished with a few big hits but 136 was a bit short of par.
Woodies opened up the chase with Toby and Ben and both got off to good starts. Looking good Ben nicked a very fine edge ct behind off first change bowler Singh. Toby was joined by M Beames who played well for his 30 not out. Toby eventually reached his 50 off 48 balls. After a very good c&b to get Hills out for a 3 ball duck A Beames hit the winning runs with a 10 ball 3 not out.

Good first win for new t20 skip Sam O and the t20 team. Bring on Purleigh next week. 👍🏽
