Match report Yet again Woodies were put in after losing the toss. With Damo unavailable Nigel and Beamsy opened, but were soon both out - Beamsy to a controversial run out.
DG hit three straight fours off three balls, before dragging the first from the next bowler onto the leg stump. Three down and not a lot on the scoreboard. Mano and Nick at the wicket with plenty of overs to go, Nick placed a couple of drives for threes before getting out trying to carve a straight one. Nathan continued scoring in the same vein before he was run out, leaving only Mano to stay and get as many runs as we could salvage - which thankfully he did, to avoid a total embarrassment for Woodies, but 76 wasn't enough.

We made an effort and star fielder Beamsy was yet again in the action with two run outs, one to stand-in 'keeper Ebenezer, but Great Baddow easily reached the total. We managed only one bonus point from the game - a game where we could and should have batted better.

The last league match to come and if we can win this we've a chance for the semi-finals. Bring it on !
