Pheasantation Evening 2018 Round up!
Firstly, thank you to everyone who turned out on Saturday night to help celebrate Woodham's achievements in 2018. I particularly want to thank our Chairman Ian Ball for his impeccable comparing, our Captains Kev Wright, Andy Brown, Toby Pateman, and George Verlander; and Nick Goode and Sheena Maxwell-Kent for organizing the evening including the Bar and the BBQ. The clubhouse has never been in better hands and Nick thoroughly deserved Club man 2018.
For those not in attendance I have listed all the awards below. Nigel Richardson was granted Life Membership of the club and he has sent me a letter of thanks that i will share on another email.
We also had two major resignations on Saturday night, George Verlander has stood down as Sunday Captain after 2 very successful years, and Andy brown has decided to hang up his Second Eleven Captains armband. Both of these positions will need to be filled at the AGM on Monday the 19th of November 2019. If you would like to stand please let me know. Details will be on yet another email!
