This Saturday and Sunday we will be putting the wicket to bed and performing a number of important jobs that need to be done in order for us all to be able to play cricket through out the Summer.
YOUR CLUB NEEDS YOU THIS WEEKEND!!
Jobs to do:
We need to move both sight screens to the club house and with one badly damaged and in need of repair this will take a few able bodies to move it across the outfield.
Clean and tidy the club house. The club house is used by our President during the shooting season so we must leave it in a fit and proper state
Lower the Nets across the far boundary including support poles and move to the storage area NEXT TO THE CLUB HOUSE
The square needs to be scarified, raked and swept clear of debris, then top dressed and seeded. (you may have seen the pallets of top soil sitting on the outfield as you drive past)
Mow and tidy up the net area (just to make the club entrance look a bit tidier)
Please let Nathan and I know when you can make it. Ideally Saturday morning from 9:30am The more bodies the quicker we can get the jobs done.

Finally, if you have any kit left in the club house please collect it this weekend. We off loaded a pile of old kit to a cricket charity at the end of last season and will plan to do the same this year if we have anything lying about.
