Here we go again! With the Christmas decorations safely stowed away and New Year’s resolutions already broken, we have reached that time of year again, as our usual bumper fare of pre-season nets returns – and get underway tonight.
Dust off the willow and work off the turkey as the duel between bat and ball reconvenes at the ECG tonight. Given that we are so keen and others not, we are able to access nets a bit earlier this week – so we will commence at 8:30. With our esteemed secretary always keen to open up proceedings, it is expected that the first wicket is due to fall at 8.31.
