Match report The indoor 1's comfortably defeated Earls Colne to secure the Div Two championship - a first trophy under the stewardship of new Chairman Ball.

The five man opposition reached 98 without loss, but had taken 10 overs to do so. The search for extra runs proved costly as the 1's patience was rewarded, taking all 5 wickets for just 16 runs.

Despite the early loss of Aussie beef Beames for 5, the trio of Toby, Jack and Ollie, 'fresh' from their weekend tour of Brighton found the back wall at will, hitting seven sixes between them. It was left to new dad Rog and the skipper to finish the match off, the latter hitting two further sixes for good measure to win the game and with it the league title.
