Match report A crushing 6 wicket victory over Shalford was comprehensive enough to propel the Indoor 1's up to the top division for the first time. Any pre-match nerves were soon eased as WMCC started well and never relented against their higher placed opponents, already a man light. Installed into bat, tight bowling from the quartet of Wright, Hayman, Wade and Mitchell, well supported in the field restricted Shalford to a meagre 56 all out. Keen to secure victory and arrive at Easter Sunday destinations at a reasonable hour, the required runs were soon acheived in just 3.2 overs, as the ball disappeared to the back wall on numerous occasions. No wickets were lost as Ball(12*), Wright (30*) and Wade (16*) navigated the bowling attack with ease.

In just 40 minutes, WMCC chalked up a fifth win from their last six matches to earn a place dining at the top table of the Indoor League come October.
