I have just received the fixtures for the first half of the Chelmsford Riverside Indoor League. There are not too many clashes with Braintree so hopefully it means we can give some indoor cricket to those who find Braintree just a little bit too far to travel for a game and any of the Braintree players who miss 16-17 games a season! The Chelmsford league will reorganise the groups at the end of January so the weaker teams will form one group and the stronger teams will form the second group. A second set of fixtures will be released then.
This league is played in the Chelmsford Riverside Ice and Leisure Center,Victoria Road CM1 1FG.
We will be selecting this team on a first come first serve basis and the rules are all pretty much the same as Braintree, albeit on a slightly bigger court. (similar in size to the Braintree College court) so a batsman's paradise!
