No new balls, so there will be no play at new venue on Sunday
Whether we get agreement to use the facility at the Maltings Academy in the next day or two has been rendered irrelevant as we have no balls to actually use there. The original order through Dean Bass has gone missing, and his re-order and my emergency order of four balls will not arrive in time. My order, on Royal Mail tracking, arrived at the Exeter Sorting Office this morning so is unlikely to be delivered tomorrow. So I have to postpone the games scheduled in Divisions Two and Three. Hopefully as next Sunday was originally a free day at Braintree College, the postponed matches from Divisions One and Two will be slotted in then.
So therdore the sdeonds game is cancelled, the firsts are playing at the leisure centre so that is still on, but the good news is it looks like we have a new venue in Witham, so we shouldbe back to normal next week.
