The College may be out of use all season
This morning I have head from the Facilities Department at The College that it appears we may not be able to use the Sports Hall at all this coming season due to the building work going on there which involves fitting some acoustic wall fittings. In the original e-mail I got from the College it did say that the Hall would only be out of action until September 19th.
I am now waiting to find out further information as to whether we shall be able to use it at any time in the future.
As to what we do now, I still have no idea. Suggestions would be very welcome but I shall not be able to receive communications until later this evening (Thursday). Maybe, if someone can find out the availability of Notley again during the course of today, it would be very useful.
so below are the 2 games we have at the college schedules for October the 12th. I will kepp everyone up to date.

More importantly the umpiring rota has been released and the Third Eleven will be required to provide 3 umpires following there game at 2pm from 3pm to 5pm.
Of course we are unsure of the venue at the moment but as we have 3 non members playing it looks like Matt Stu and Nick will need to step up to the plate if possible unless any of the non members fancy a bit of umpiring for a few hours! unpaid charity work of course.
If Matt umpires he will not be able to pick up Jono Mooney for the seconds game as Matt is also playing for the Seconds so I will need someone in the seconds to pick up and drop Jono home on Sunday the 12th. He lives in Danbury not far from the club. Volunteers please!!!
I will post the seconds and Firsts rota on the website but neither of those teams need to front up on the 12th
