Woodham Mortimer Cricket Club

Great to see the firsts get off the mark with a resounding win today. I dont have all the details yet but Matt Goddlad and Stephen Richardson both hit 50's.

The seconds also had a win and beat the top of the table and have cemented second spot. Again, no details but I know they needed 5 runs off 4 balls to win the game, so sounds like an exciting finish. Well done stand in skipper Steve Collis. Just a note, this is the highest the Woodham Mortimer second Eleven have ever been and with such a young side can we dream of promotion?? Well done boys!!

Best of luck to the sunday Eleven tomorrow, they will be playing at home tomorrow  in he glorious sunshine if you fancy popping down for a cold pint and a bit of sunday afternoon villiage cricket.
