WMCC LADIES CHAMPIONS

Last Wednesday on a rare rain free evening finally saw Woodham Ladies become Champions of the Beaumont Seymour League. With a superb all round display at Terling, bowling Abberton out for just 38!

Hannah Verlander starting the rut of figures of 3for5 and with Laura Thorogood and Sophie Southgate pitching in with one apiece before Grace Melhuish came on with an almost unplayable spell of bowling mopping up the Abberton batswomen with figures of 5for3!

Skipper Victoria Brown opened the batting and saw the team to victory unbeaten on 23 assisted by Sophie Southgate 7, Laura Woodhatch 3 and Grace Mehuish 4. Getting the total in just 12 overs. An outstanding team performance by all the ladies not just in this game but right through the on-off season.  Congratulations to each and everyone of them.
