Good Morning all. Few emails coming this mng…. Apologies!
With the League season about to get underway we thought it pertinent to highlight the selection policy and the match fee policy the club will follow:
Selection:
- All selections will be via the website. If you have not updated the website, you will be considered unavailable. If you cannot access website for any reason Mark Beames can update on your behalf on 0771 8585798 and I am happy to do so!
- Kev Wright will select and post the First Eleven side.
- Gav Cook will select and post the Second Eleven side.
- League sides will generally be posted by Tuesday.
- The league sides will be selected competitively by the Captains. We are in a unique position for this first weekend where we have 15-16 available for the Seconds. This means a number of able players will miss out on league cricket. Always a difficult decision for the captain to make.
- Sunday Elevens will be selected by Mark Beames in conjunction with George Verlander and Manoj Tripathi.
- Tuesday 20/20 sides will be selected by Sam Older and Mark Beames
- Sundays and 20/20 sides will be selected to ensure those not playing Saturday are selected first and the same with Tuesday. Our aim is to always ensure we get as many people playing as much cricket as they want.
- Manoj and Sam are always happy to accommodate requests so please let the captains know if you have a desire to bat or bowl in any friendly game.
- If you have any issues regarding selection, please let the club know and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Match Fees:
- League and Sundays match fees are £10.00 senior and £5.00 junior.
- 20/20 match fees are £5.00 per person.
- Match fees are required to be paid on the day of the game please.
- For home games we can take card payments or cash
- For away games cash is preferred, however if you wish to pay online you need to make that payment on game day please.

- Following the 2 games this weekend we are now having to chase 6 people for match fees, and we all have better things to do. Please make it your responsibility to ensure your match fees are paid on game day.
