GUIDANCE FROM THE ECB
Hello all,
Firstly, many thanks to all of you who have provided feedback on the earlier drafts of this document. Please see attached the approved guidance for cricket clubs in relation to the latest government announcements – as well as supporting infographic. This will shortly be sent out to clubs and leagues (in England only) via the play-cricket database. Please circulate this guidance with any clubs and leagues who might not be captured by the play-cricket database. This information will also be housed on the ECB website.
Please note, this guidance is provided to support the advice of government and medical experts, as well as to offer practical guidance to players and clubs on the steps they should take to remain safe whilst undertaking exercise in an outdoor cricket club environment. Equally, no club should reopen their outdoor facilities if they feel unable to meet the requirements. We intended to release this last night, so I apologise for the delay, however it was important we took the extra time to get this guidance right.
