Presidents Day Saturday the 7th of September 2019
The annual Presidents day match between the Chairman's Eleven and the Presidents Eleven will take place on Saturday the 7th of September 2019. This is an annual club day where we get the whole club together to celebrate the end of the league season, and with the ones confirming their top flight status for 2020 and the seconds and outside chance for promotion, there is much to celebrate.
We currently have 10 showing as available on that day and we will require 22. Could you please let me know if you wish to play on 0771 8585798.
I will post 2 teams today and see where we get to.
Hopefully the social committee will volunteer for tea duty and we will end the day with a BBQ.
Whether you wish to play or not this is a great day to join the club for a relaxing afternoon of cricket!
The following day, Sunday the 8th of September we will be playing Springfield also at home. Please let me know if you can play in this Friendly as well. We have 4 Sunday friendlies let this year and it has been very difficult to get teams out throughout the season. In fact we have had to cancel this Sundays home game v Benfleet. If everyone could make the effort to try to play in at least one of these games, it would really be a great help.
