We held our first committee meeting of 2019 last night. The Chairman welcomed our new members and much was discussed for the season ahead.
Despite everyone looking forward to the outdoor season there is an urgent matter that we need to address. Following the extremely hot and dry weather last year we have a rather large water bill combined with our annual insurance premiums. We are investigating whether we have a leak or whether this is purely down to usage. Whatever the reason the bill needs to be paid and that has put a strain on the clubs cash flow at what is usually a very lean time of the year in terms of income.
To solve this problem we are asking all our members to try to pay their Annual subscriptions as soon as possible.
The Committee have made a commitment to pay their subs this week to try to relieve the burden and we are asking all members to do the same.
