The WMCC Sunday XI has successfully retained the Warsop Sunday League Division 2 title.
The team, who were so far unbeaten in the campaign, were contacted by St. Aidan's CC this week who unfortunately conceded due to poor availability. The points gained from this enabled the side to move into a position that cannot be caught by second place. The captain wishes to extend his gratitude to all players that have taken part in what Chairman Ian Ball has declared a 'fantastic achievement'.
The closing fixture of the league will take place on Sunday 10th September, where WMCC will take on Terling CC at Pheasant Park, with the league already won but an 8-0 record still to play for.
