Firstly, thank you to everyone that turned up last Saturday. We managed to get quite a bit of work done and we are almost ready for the season ahead.
This Saturday we have one final clean up day starting at 10am again. Nathan will of course be on hand to direct everyone.
The jobs still to do:
- Paint and repair the picket fence
- paint the front of the club house and the wall to the visitors changing room. Nathan will supply paint, brushes and rollers.
- collect any remaining rubbish that won't fit in skip and stack near visitors changing room to be taken to the dump
- cut up remaining net carpet and stack ready to go to dump
- collect and organise any spare net poles stacked by the net. Please organise on the concrete slabs in the nets. Please check the long grass for any small connecting pieces. We plan to use all this steel to build a permanent rear net protector. Any pieces we have will save on cost.
- we have one post for the large protecting nets across the far boundary that need to be cemented in.
- finish up cleaning the inside of the club house and anything else Nathan can find.
and that's about it! Oh and if you haven't already please pay your subs. We kindly request that all subs are paid by the first of May.
