SATURDAYS INTRACLUB AT HOME: In the unlikely event the rain stops, the sun comes out and Pheasant Park dries out enough to even get cars parked on the outfield, we are still planning on holding an Intra Club game this Saturday at 1pm to open the season. Of course this will be a bitter sweet occasion for the club as we celebrate the beginning of the 2016 season and grieve for the loss of our longest standing member; Don Carver. Nathan Hayman has been preparing the grounds with his usual vigour albeit all on his own now. We have had 2 work parties with still a bit to get done over the next few weeks.
We have 20 players lined up for Saturday and I am still looking for 2 more to make up the teams . If anyone fancies a game or know someone who can play please let me know ASAP on 07718585798.
SUNDAY’S GAME V TILLINGHAM AWAY: the deserts of Tillingham await us on SUNDAY for the first Sunday game 1pm start. With George hitting the books, Cameron Hayman will be taking the reins
