Hello and welcome to Woodham Mortimer Cricket Club!
Situated in the picturesque Essex countryside WMCC has a proud history of providing Cricket to the local community since our establishment in 1809. The club is made up of numerous outdoor squads which includes two Saturday XI sides that compete within the T-Rippon Mid Essex Cricket League, one Sunday XI which participates in both friendly and Warsop Sunday League Cricket and one T20 XI that plays during mid-week fixtures. In addition to this WMCC also manages several indoor teams that contend in various indoor leagues across both Braintree and Chelmsford.
Woodham Mortimer Cricket Club is extremely fortunate to benefit from a well-maintained private ground, practise facilities and clubhouse which includes a licensed bar for the use of our members and their guests. Social events are regularly promoted throughout the year with further information regarding these available on this website. From January - April indoor training sessions commence at the Writtle Cricket Centre on Thursday evenings from 9pm-10pm. From May - September outdoor training sessions are held at the club on Thursday evenings from 6pm-8pm.
