Nestled in the Essex countryside, Woodham Mortimer Cricket Club (WMCC) has proudly served the local community since 1809, offering cricket for all ages and abilities. We field multiple outdoor teams, including two Saturday XI sides competing in the T-Rippon Mid Essex Cricket League, a Sunday XI playing friendly fixtures, and a midweek T20 XI. We also run indoor teams that compete across leagues in Braintree and Chelmsford.
Members benefit from excellent facilities, including a well-maintained private ground, practice areas, and a clubhouse with a licensed bar. Social events are held throughout the year and shared via our website.
Training schedule:
- Indoor (JanโApr): Wednesdays, 6โ7pm at Writtle Cricket Centre
- Outdoor (MayโSep): Thursdays, 6โ8pm at the club
